Manufacturing & Supply: Gemlik Production Plant

The production plant for Togg is located in the Gemlik district of Bursa Province. Moreover, it occupies 400 hectares of land owned by the Turkish Armed Forces. The area is chosen for its proximity to a seaport, a free-trade zone, and suppliers with efficient logistics. With a construction budget of ₺22 billion (approx. US$1.2 billion), the plant is expected to employ 4,323 individuals, contributing to the local economy. The initial production stage aims to roll out 100 cars within the Togg production plan.

In 2022, Togg planned on a commercial-scale lithium production, utilizing boron as a byproduct. This move aims to enhance the self-sufficiency of lithium resources. Additionally, Togg has collaborated with the Chinese battery company Farasis to establish Siro. It is a 50/50 joint venture dedicated to manufacturing lithium batteries for electric vehicles. Located near Ankara, Siro represents a significant step in Togg’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Togg Future Plans:

Togg aspires to produce five models by 2030 and export one million vehicles to European countries within the decade. This vision aligns with Togg’s focus on innovation and sustainability, positioning the company as a key player in Turkey’s automotive future.
