New Decisions Regarding Issuing Residence Permits for Foreigners in Istanbul
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu has announced recently the 8 New Istanbul districts that have been added to the list in which Residence Permits for Foreigners have been closed.
Following the Istanbul Migration Evaluation Meeting at the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. The interior minister spoke to the media.
Soylu said that Esenyurt and Fatih districts are already were previously blocked from issuing residence permits for foreigners. In addition, Kucukcekmece, Basaksehir, Bagcilar, Avcilar, Bahcelievler, Sultangazi, Esenler, and Zeytinburnu are now closed. Closed to all types of residency licenses as well as temporary protection in Istanbul, according to Soylu. Consequently, there won’t be any more new foreigners enrolled in these districts.
However, some circumstances can be considered exceptions regarding this decision. If a foreigner wins or purchases a home in Istanbul as a real estate investor. A total of 10 Districts are Closed by Now
As mentioned above, there are 2 districts that registering residence permits under them is already closed since a while.These 2 areas are Esenyurt and Fatih.
